The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.

We briefly discussed our participation in Field Day; for a recap see this post.
Also discussed was our participation in the TX State Parks on the Air event. KC5LL emailed the results today (7/25/2017) and we did pretty good: second place!

While the official meeting itself was quite sort; we did have a long and successful license exam session. Mr. Oscar Lechuga traveled countless miles to take the Technician test – and he passed!

Congratulations! Oscar also took the General test but missed it by one point. One! Don’t you just hate it when that happens??? But he’s going to pass that test in August, easily.
