October 23, 2017 meeting minutes
The meeting, unofficially, was called to order around 7:15 PM Uvalde time.
Attending: Jim AB5JK, Oscar KG5ULB (briefly) and Erik K5WW.
Topics discussed: headlight replacement, satellite communications, and the possible installation of the Fusion repeater.
The meeting was adjourned around 8:30 PM UMH time.
Next month we need 3 Extra class VEs onsite, please!

Greetings to all, from an old friend!
The lone coyote decided to do a bit of contesting Saturday afternoon, in both the CQWW RTTY and the TX QSO Party. Didn’t make a whole lot of QSOs due to a hardware project at the shack; but ran into an old friend, K0YY, on 40 meters.
The recorder just happened to be running; so the whole QSO was recorded. Seems to be a bit of RF on the recording; but had to share anywayz. Here’s Roger with his killer signal:
