The Coyote Amateur Radio Club is sponsored by Uvalde Memorial Hospital to aid in emergency communication in the event of a disaster. The club practices good radio operation by participating in contests and the annual ARRL (American Radio Relay League) Field Day; because knowing how to operate under adverse conditions helps prepare for when you may have to use the equipment to save your or someone else’s life.
